MEET KYM

There was a time I woke up every morning with a knot in my stomach, that quiet dread before the day had even begun.

Life looked fine on the outside, but inside, I felt disconnected.

For years, I did what I thought I was supposed to do; working hard, staying busy, keeping everything running but I wasn’t really living. I was moving through life almost on autopilot, doing everything for everyone else and quietly losing track of myself.

When my family moved overseas for our son’s football dream and to start a new business, everything changed. It was exciting and terrifying all at once, a complete restart that stripped away all the old structures and made me ask, What do I really want?

That’s when the stress really hit and my body got my attention.
After years of pushing through exhaustion, gut issues, and that quiet voice whispering something isn’t right, everything finally caught up with me. I’d lived with diverticular disease for decades, but this time, I could see how deeply it was tied to stress, pressure, and the way I was showing up in life.

That realisation became a turning point. I began studying Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy and neuroscience principles, determined to understand how the mind and body influence each other and how stress and thought patterns can shape physical health.

Over time, that curiosity evolved into something bigger: The 5-Minute Magnet™ Method, a practical, science-based way to retrain the mind–body connection for lasting calm and clarity.

This work became my new direction, not just healing my body, but aligning my life with a sense of purpose. It gave me a way to help others move from survival mode to self-understanding, from constant pressure to peace.

Today, that’s what I do, guide people to reconnect their mind and body, ease the stress loop that drives both overthinking and gut distress, and rediscover the calm confidence that comes from living in alignment with yourself.

A Few Things About Me

Beyond my work as a Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist and creator of The 5-Minute Magnet™, here’s a little about me, the person behind the practice.

☕ I love coffee, warm croissants, and slow mornings at my favourite café with my husband and son, that calm start reminds me how much balance matters in both mind and body.

⚽ I have a teenage son who’s a dedicated athlete, and you’ll find me most days on the sidelines, happy, proud, and completely in the moment.

🐾 I adore animals, probably more than is normal, they’ve always been part of my family and remind me daily how simple joy can be.

💡 I’m endlessly curious and happiest when I’m creating, bringing ideas to life that make people feel more grounded, capable, and free.

💛 I believe in kindness. I’m happy, friendly, and fiercely loyal and I’ll always stand up for what’s fair and right.

My Mission

My mission is to change the way people understand their bodies to help them see that every signal, every symptom, is communication, not failure.

I know this personally.
Since childhood, I’ve lived with gut issues IBS, diverticular flare-ups, and the rollercoaster of stress-related symptoms that come with them. For years, I believed my body was failing me. It wasn’t until much later that I realised it was trying to communicate.

When my son began experiencing the same gut sensitivity and anxiety patterns, I knew I had to understand the connection fully, not just for us, but for others too. That journey led me to study Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy, Gut-Directed Hypnotherapy, and the science of the gut–brain axis.

Now, through Gut–Mind Therapy™, I help people of all ages calm gut-driven stress responses, rebuild trust in their body, and create lasting change from the inside out.
