Why Work With Me?
IBS is not just something I work with professionally. It is something I understand personally.
I have lived with IBS and diverticular issues myself, so I understand how exhausting it can feel when your gut starts affecting your confidence, your plans, your food choices, your travel, your work and your sense of safety in your own body.
I am not offering general hypnosis for relaxation. I have trained specifically in gut-directed hypnotherapy, alongside my work as a Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist, so sessions are designed around the gut-brain connection, stress-sensitive digestion, urgency, anticipation anxiety and the patterns that can keep symptoms switched on.
This means we are not just trying to “calm you down.” We are working with the way your nervous system, thoughts, body responses and gut have learned to react together.
