Book Initial SessionDoes this sound like your child?
- worries that don’t switch off
- overthinking small things
- getting stuck on certain thoughts
- needing constant reassurance
- feeling anxious before school or events
- avoiding situations or becoming overwhelmed
You might also notice it showing up physically:
- tummy aches or feeling sick when nervous
- needing the toilet more when anxious
- headaches or feeling unwell before school
- symptoms easing at weekends or holidays
Why this happens
Many children aren’t just “worriers” - their system is overwhelmed.
When anxiety builds, it affects:
- how they think
- how they feel
- and sometimes how their body responds
This can create a loop where thoughts, feelings, and physical symptoms all feed into each other.
This doesn’t mean something is wrong with your child.
It means their system needs support to feel calmer, steadier, and more in control again.
How I work with children
I don’t expect children to sit and explain everything or talk in a way that feels uncomfortable.
Sessions are calm, gentle, and adapted to your child.
We often use simple activities alongside conversation to help them:
- feel more at ease
- settle into the session naturally
- open up without pressure
As your child becomes more comfortable, we introduce simple, practical ways to help them:
- handle thoughts differently
- feel calmer in their body
- cope better in real-life situations
Everything is done at your child’s pace.
A calm, practical approach that works
Instead of trying to stop thoughts or “fix” everything at once, we help your child:
- feel calmer in their body
- understand what’s happening in a simple way
- respond differently when things feel overwhelming
This helps reduce the intensity of anxiety and builds confidence over time.
How We Work Together
How Many Sessions Will My Child Need?
The number of sessions varies for each child and depends on how anxiety is showing up and how they respond as we begin working together.
Many families choose to start with a small block of sessions to build momentum and create early progress.
From there, we review together and continue as needed, allowing support to adapt to your child’s pace and what they need over time.
Online & Parent Involvement
Sessions are delivered online or in person in Market Harborough.
Parents are included where helpful, while giving children space to build confidence independently.

Client Testimonials
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Kym helped me sort out the problems with my stomach and the anxiety I used to feel every day. I don’t get those issues before school anymore, and now I only need to get up 30 minutes before I leave instead of two hours.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The program with Kym has helped our family so much. My son can finally trust his body again - we can all leave the house without worrying about stomach pain, bathroom anxiety, or what he will be able to eat. The change has been incredible, and it’s honestly given us our mornings and our life back.
